Nova Post's Barrier-Free Marathon

Unite in Motion. Support in Action.

About the project

For ten years, Nova Poshta has been bringing Ukrainians together through running. Each year, thousands of people take to the start line in cities across the country – people for whom there are no limits, only goals. Some complete their first kilometre, others set new records. We may be separated by distance, but we run the same course, because strength lies in unity. Because we are one country.

We believe that running should be accessible to everyone. And we do everything possible to make sure everyone who wishes to can join.

On 26 October, we will hold the next ‘Barrier-Free Marathon by Nova Poshta’.

Anyone can take part – whether experienced or not, including people with disabilities, participants with prams or pets, children, and older adults.

Running is about movement that unites. And on this path, there is no place for barriers.

‘Unity Run’ – one kilometre for the whole country

Millions of Ukrainians live in different corners of the world today. Some stayed at home, others temporarily left – but we all remain Ukrainians. We may be separated by distance, but shared roots, memory, and love for our country unite us.

On 26 October, we will unite in motion. The ‘Unity Run’ is just one kilometre, but it carries significant meaning. It is a step that connects us, wherever we are.

Some will run this distance in Kyiv, while others will run it in Warsaw, Berlin, or London. But at that moment, everyone will feel one thing – we move together, as one country.

In unity lies our strength.

‘Unity Run’ – one kilometre for the whole country.

On 26 October, you will be able to run a special distance. It doesn’t matter which city you are in, how old you are, or whether you are a regular runner. This kilometre is about unity in action and mutual support for a common goal.

Ukrainians know from experience that unity helps us get through the most challenging times, stay resilient, and keep moving forward. The ‘Unity Run’ is just one kilometre, but every step you take will be in sync with others. Some will run it in Kyiv, while others will run it in Warsaw, Berlin, or London. But everyone will feel: my country moves with me towards a shared goal.

100% of registration fees from the ‘Unity Run’ will be donated to the UNBROKEN Rehabilitation Centre.

UNBROKEN is the largest medical facility in Ukraine, providing free treatment, prosthetics, and physical and psychological rehabilitation for people affected by the war – both children and adults, soldiers and civilians. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, it has saved more than 20,000 wounded Ukrainians.

The contribution is made during registration and is:

  • - from 599 UAH for the Kyiv run with a physical medal
  • - from 100 UAH for online participation with an electronic medal
